Students with Economics as major have the possibility to take this course instead of International Economics In contrast, I highly recommend Development Economics to those coming from other disciplines. That makes the cachet that has attached itself to Development Economics all the more unusual. But when you strip away the math and think about the underlying logic of the theory, it's really profoundly relevant to analysis of developing countries.
